Adult Day Program (ADP)
An Adult Day Program (ADP) center is licensed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division (DSS, CCLD). Considered an "Adult and Senior Care Program," an ADP is subject to an annual licensure fee by the State of California.
An ADP is not a "health facility;" therefore, it cannot be certified or reimbursed to serve Medi-Cal (Medicaid) beneficiaries.
Within the ADP category, there are three membership options:
Pre-Licensed (non-voting membership)
Newly Licensed (voting membership)
Licensed Provider (voting membership).
