STANDING COMMITTEES

Board Development Committee

                Meets by telephone about 3 times per year.

                Focus areas: Nominations  |  By-laws review  |  Identify potential Board members

 

Education Committee

                Meets by telephone 10 times per year.

                Focus areas: Identify webinar topics  |  Plan content for Spring and Fall Conferences

 

Finance Committee

                Meets by telephone about 2 – 3 times per year.

                Focus areas: Budget  |  Banking / financial review

 

Legislative / Public Policy Committee

                Meets by telephone about 2 – 3 times per year.

                Focus areas: Review legislative BILLS  |  Promote grassroots advocacy

 

Membership Committee

                Meets by telephone 11 times per year.

                Focus areas: Review/approve membership applications  |  Review dues categories and annual dues rates

 

      Ethics Sub-committee

                Meets by telephone, as needed.

                Focus areas: Member education and awareness

 

WORKGROUPS - ADHOC

Adult Day Program Work Group - ADHOC

                Meets by telephone about 2 – 4 times per year.

                Focus areas: Identify key ADP issues  |  Identify ADP training needs  | 

                Establish business associate relationships with Managed Care Plans

 

Forms Work Group - ADHOC

                Meets by telephone, as needed.

                Focus areas: IPC form improvements  |  Uniform assessments  | 

                Standardized forms, including History & Physical form

 

Medicare Work Group - ADHOC

                Meets by telephone, as needed.

                Focus areas: Opportunities for ADS providers to serve Medicare beneficiaries and be reimbursed fairly

 

Public Awareness / Web Work Group - ADHOC

                Meets by telephone, as needed.

                Focus areas: website redesign | external communications


ALE

Quality Improvement Committee

                Meets by telephone 6 times per year.

                Focus areas: Evidence-based practices and protocols  |  Quality and outcome measures, including TOPS  |

                Core competencies  |  Standard training curriculum

 

Homeless Work Group

                Meets by telephone, as needed.

                Focus areas: Opportunities for ADS providers to serve the homeless population
