On January 19, at 10 a.m., the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will virtually host the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) and Duals Integration Workgroup meeting.

This workgroup serves as a stakeholder collaboration hub for CalAIM MLTSS and integrated care for dual-eligible members, and allows stakeholders to provide feedback and share information about policy, operations, and strategy around the changes to Medicare and Medi-Cal.

Agenda items include an update on the Skilled Nursing Facility Long-Term Care Carve-In transition, updates on the January 2023 DHCS transitions and monitoring, an update on the Enhanced Care Management 2023 Populations of Focus, and overviews of the 2023 CalAIM Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) policy guide chapters that were recently released and 2024 D-SNP care coordination guidance.
