Exploring Challenges and Opportunities in Access, Workforce, and Affordability
Long-term services and supports (LTSS) comprise an array of critical services and programs that assist people with complex health needs, such as people with disabilities and older adults. The California Department of Finance projects that one in four Californians will be age 60 and older by 2030. At the same time, the number of disabled adults will also increase. Many will likely need LTSS at some point as their needs change.
According to the recent AARP LTSS Scorecard, California’s LTSS system ranks 11th overall in the nation, however, there is still ample opportunity to improve the system so LTSS are equitable and reach the people who need them the most.
Join The SCAN Foundation and the California Collaborative for Long-Term Services and Supports (CCLTSS) on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm PT for a legislative briefing on LTSS.
