New Public Health Orders (PHOs) relating to infection control for all facilities and mandatory vaccinations for healthcare workers were issued to stop the recent rise in COVID-19 case rates by preventing the rapid transmission of the more infectious Delta variant. Compliance deadlines are fast approaching. There is an immediate need to understand the new requirements and plan for how to meet them. An equally important consideration is how to best ensure the safety of vulnerable participants while seeking to resume in-center congregate services.
