Round 2 Asthma Mitigation Project funding available — webinar on March 9
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce a funding opportunity through the Asthma Mitigation Project.
The project supports a statewide network of organizations providing asthma home visiting, education and environmental mitigation throughout California, with a focus on serving Medi-Cal patients. Funding is focused on services for individuals with poorly controlled asthma to improve asthma self-management, as well as to decrease exposure to environmental triggers and improve asthma outcomes.
The Center is seeking applications from organizations such as community-based organizations, local health departments, community-based health care providers and Medi-Cal managed care organizations that will work on specific culturally and linguistically appropriate asthma home visiting programs.
With grants up to $350,000 over two years, this funding opportunity will support asthma home visiting services, including education and environmental trigger mitigation.

We will hold one webinar to review the request for proposals. Participation on the webinar is not required, but is strongly encouraged.
