Individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid are almost three times as likely to have Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) as people eligible for Medicare only,1 and 20 percent of all dually eligible individuals aged 65 and over are diagnosed with ADRD.2 The tools, resources, and strategies presented in this webinar will be directly related to the needs of dually eligible individuals and their caregivers.

This webinar will explore innovative ways that health equity and caregiver support are addressed across ADRD programs supporting dually eligible people living with ADRD. The event speakers will review various strategies and lessons learned from existing programs for ensuring caregivers have the supports they need to care for a person living with ADRD, and speakers will also describe strategies for health plans to consider to support providers in their work with caregivers.
