Adult Day Centers provide meaningful experiences and enriching activities for persons living with dementia and their care partners. Preparing your facility and staff to provide supportive care can be a daunting task without the proper tools. This webinar will identify how to prepare adult day centers to care for individuals with dementia, describe ways to create opportunities for engagement, and discuss strategies for accommodating challenges that arise.

About the presenters: Andrea Williams is the Director of the BakerRipley Dementia Day Center. The BakerRipley Dementia Day Center is the first dementia-specific adult day center in Houston and the only center in the Greater Houston area accepting individuals from early to moderate-late dementia.

Debi Banooni is the Director of The Dorothy & Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Program. This program is a partnership between JVS Human Services in Southfield, Michigan and Jewish Senior Life, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Providing one program with two locations.
