WHAT WE WILL COVER
California is known for boom and bust budget cycles. CAADS was fortunate to get $61.4 million set aside in last year’s budget for the Bridge to Recovery (BTR) Grant program, especially in the face of a $30+ billion deficit this year. It required a ton of work and tight coordination among our Sacramento team and grassroots member advocates. But did you know this year's budget deficit put this BTR funding at risk?

Join us to find out how CAADS was able to protect the BTR funds from being swept away to help fill the budget hole.

In this webinar, we’ll share a behind-the-scenes peek at the magic of advocacy when money is short, but energy and passion are high! Learn how the past two years of CAADS’ intensive year-round advocacy in Sacramento is building a strong foundation for even bigger “asks” next year to address the funding crisis in our CBAS and ADP community of providers and address systemic flaws in how rates are set. Discover how you can contribute to making the vision happen in ways big and small.
