DHCS will host a two-hour stakeholder webinar to provide an overview of the HCBA Waiver renewal application
During the webinar, DHCS will summarize key takeaways from its HCBA renewal stakeholder workgroup meetings, walk-through key changes to the waiver, and address stakeholder comments/questions.

Background: The HCBA waiver (authorized under section 1915(c) of the Social Security Act) provides long-term, community-based services and supports to Medi-Cal-eligible beneficiaries in the community setting of their choice. These services include private duty nursing, case management, and personal care services necessary to maintain the health and safety of an individual with nursing level of care needs, in a community setting instead of an institution.
