WEBINAR

JANUARY 6 - WHAT WE WILL COVER
Happy New Year! As 2021 dawns, initiating California's widespread COVID-19 vaccination efforts, we are excited to be joined by leaders at the forefront of this important public health measure. Our presenters will discuss vaccine safety and share the statewide plan, including ways that you may be able to organize vaccinations for participants and staff. Stanford-based geriatrician Dr. Mehrdad Ayati, will offer guidance on clinical aspects of the COVID-19 vaccine and how to share information with participants and caregivers; review contraindications, precautions, and unique considerations, such as for participants with dementia; and consider the role vaccination may play in safely allowing a wider range of in-person services. We are planning time for Q&A and encourage you to send questions in advance to lydia@caads.org. Join us for this important webinar!
