 Department of Social Services (CDSS) is pursuing a new integrated software
  solution\, California Supporting Providers and Reaching Kids (CalSPARK)\,
  to support the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) as well as child
 care subsidy programs. The aim of the new system is to enhance the operato
 r experience with application submission\, annual program update submissio
 n\, program data reporting\, program monitoring\, and claims processing.\n
 \nCDSS will host a webinar to provide an update about the project and to s
 eek further feedback from users of the current Child Nutrition Information
  & Payment System (CNIPS). CDSS created a draft of required functionality 
 of the future system based on needs and challenges identified in previous 
 stakeholder sessions. CDSS will discuss examples of how these capabilities
  will enhance the user experience in the future system. The goal of the we
 binar is to share information about those requirements and system capabili
 ties and provide an opportunity for additional feedback on what stakeholde
 rs and partners would like to see in the future CalSPARK system.   \n\nCDS
 S will release a survey following the webinar to all members of this maili
