  Medicaid system to address the complex social drivers of health among hig
 h needs beneficiaries represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to imp
 rove the lives of the 1.5 million older adults eligible for Medi-Cal and s
 trengthen integrated care for the 1.2 million individuals dually eligible 
 for Medicare and Medi-Cal.\n\nUnder the new system\, all Medi-Cal benefici
 aries will be enrolled in Managed Care Plans (MCPs). People dually eligibl
 e for Medicare and Medi-Cal will be able to select a Medicare Medi-Cal Pla
 n (MMP) that that coordinates all Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits under the
  same health organization. For beneficiaries who qualify\, MCPs/MMP will o
 ffer Enhanced Care Management and an array of Community Supports (e.g.\, r
 espite care\, home delivered meals) through contracts with community-based
  organizations. These new benefits and incentives create important opportu
 nities for CBOs whose capabilities include supportive services\, especiall
 y those that can prevent or delay nursing home placement.\n\nIn addition t
 o this funding stream for services to those in need\, the state is also ru
 nning a multi-round\, $1 billion grant program to help CBOs and other prov
 ider organizations build up their capacity to participate in the new syste
 m. For example\, Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) — Capacit
 y and Infrastructure Transition\, Expansion and Development (CITED) grants
  — can be used to hire and train new staff\, purchase IT systems\, and oth
 erwise prepare to participate in CalAIM.\n\nJoin us for a discussion of th
 e opportunity for aging services organizations to apply for PATH CITED cap
 acity building grants\, to partner with MCPs\, and to prepare for the futu
 re. Speakers will include CBOs already contracted to MCPs and those consid
 ering contracting\; representatives from leading MCPs\; and experts in Med
 i-Cal/CalAIM.\n\nThis webinar will focus on contracting and obtaining a le
 tter of attestation and will describe the technical assistance opportuniti
 es available for assisting CBOs in leveraging PATH opportunities and engag
 ing with health plans. In part 2 (separate registration)\, the California 
 Department of Aging and the Department of Health Care Services will focus
