X-WR-CALDESC:The California Master Plan for Aging (MPA) serves as a bluepri
nt for transforming the aging experience across the state. Released in 202
 1\, the MPA outlines 5 bold goals\, 23 strategies\, and over 120 initiativ
es aimed at building a California for all ages. However\, the ambitious go
als of the MPA cannot be achieved through state-level action alone. Recogn
izing the important role of California communities\, the MPA features a Lo

 sability-friendly action plans.\n\nIn January 2022\, The SCAN Foundation p
rovided support to three advocacy coalitions to focus on developing local
MPAs that address the unique challenges of aging in rural communities. Ove
r a process of two years\, the following coalitions are leading developmen
t of local MPAs focused on seven rural counties across California: \n•	Dive
