  session is designed to help family members\, staff\, friends\, faith comm
 unities\, and community agencies better understand the impact of dementia 
 on the person and their family during traditional celebrations\, holiday f
 estivities\, and family gatherings and special events. The goal of the ses
 sion is to help everyone enjoy these times with minimized stress and maxim
 ized positive and joyful moments. The focus will be on helping everyone in
 volved appreciate the changes that dementia is causing\, what the person c
 an still do and enjoy\, what will probably be challenging and frustrating 
 or overwhelming and what can be done to control for as many factors as pos
 sible to promote better outcomes.\n\nAfter completing this webinar you wil
 l be able to:\n\n•	Describe common changes and progression patterns that ha
 ppen when someone is living with dementia as these features have an impact
  on holidays\, traditional celebrations and gatherings\, and visits and in
 teractions.\n•	Discuss the importance of modifying expectations\, behaviors
 \, setting cues\, and using feedback and observed responses and reactions 
 on the part of the person living with dementia in order to experience more
  positive interactions and events\n•	Compare and contrast changes and modif
 ications that will be beneficial from early to late stages of dementia.\n
 \nPRESENTER\nRebekah Wilson\, Positive Approach LLC / Aging Care Coach LLC
 \nRebekah Wilson\, MSW\, is a dementia care consultant\, trainer and owner
  of Aging Care Coach LLC. She has fifteen years of experience in dementia 
 care services including hospice\, home health care\, assisted living and c
 are management. In these arenas\, she has used her specialties in teaching
 \, community outreach\, marketing and developing innovative strategies for
  providing comfort care for those living with dementia and their care part
 ners. She has also presented at local\, state\, and national conferences o
 n dementia and other caregiving topics. Rebekah joined PAC in 2018\, servi
